Tax Credit Fights, Hybrid RAV4s and Waffle House Charging
Episode 185
Ha. The “Weiner 500” is a real thing. Google it. Today I’m talking about the newly formed American Fleet Leadership Coalition’s push to preserve the Inflation Reduction Act’s 45W Commercial Clean Vehicle Tax Credit, warning that its loss could jeopardize 130,000 EV jobs and 310,000 more across other sectors by 2030. Meanwhile, Toyota makes waves by announcing the 2026 RAV4 will be hybrid-only, signaling a major shift for one of America’s top-selling SUVs. And finally, Waffle House joins the EV revolution, with 50 Southern locations set to install ultrafast 400kW chargers starting in 2026.
